Biosafety classification is based on U.S. Public Health Service Guidelines, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their facilities comply with biosafety regulations for their own country.
Colonies dull, whitish, with yellowish cream reverse; aerial mycelium velutinous; surface smooth or somewhat warty, sometimes with radial grooves. Hyphae with clamp connections in dikaryotic hyphae; pseudoclamps in monokaryotic hyphae. Chlamydospores absent or present in variable abundance, subglobose to somewhat irregular in shape, 13.0-20.0 x 10.0-14.0 μm, rather thick-walled, hyaline or with ochraceous contents.
Colonies of yeast phase butyrous or rather dry, flat, shiny or dull, yellowish cream to pale ochraceous; surface smooth, transversely wrinkled, pustulate, venose to reticulate. Yeast cells ellipsoidal, allantoid, fusiform, subglobose or cylindrical, 10-45(-150) x 3.0-10.0(-20.0) μm, thin-walled, but becoming thick-walled with age, scars rather distinct, conidia sessile or on short denticles.
